Monuments, museums and how people lived in times gone by has always fascinated me. I decided to pursue my interest academically and have recently completed my M.Phil. in ancient Indian history from Delhi University.
For the past few years, I have been researching and writing on Indian art, architecture and heritage. I was exposed to the diversity in Indian art through my work with Benoy Behl, an art-historian and documentary film-maker.
In the last three years, I have enjoyed developing cultural resources for young people (I hope to write a history book for kids someday!) as part of my work for INTACH, an organisation devoted to heritage conservation.
I really feel that the discovery of the past can be a fun experience for everybody and I am quite enjoying ‘bringing history to life’ with Go!Places.
